Which Retinol is Right for Me?

If anti-aging is one of your skincare goals, then you are probably familiar with retinol. Retinol has long been at the top of the pyramid when it comes to anti-aging ingredients.

But did you know that you can start using retinol as early as your 20s? Yep! Retinol isn’t just a wrinkle reducer. Vitamin A (the source of all retinoids) can help exfoliate the skin, giving it a brighter, more vibrant appearance. And it can also help with dark or uneven spots and hyperpigmentation.

So how do you know which Colleen Rothschild retinol product is right for you?

Problem: Wrinkled and stressed eyes
Solution: Retinol Supreme Eye Serum

Our eyes typically show the first signs of aging. I formulated the Retinol Supreme Eye Serum to help address not only wrinkles and crowsfeet, but also dehydration. The delicate skin around our eyes often need extra moisture to stay plump and supple.

Saloprine 8, a key ingredient in the Eye Serum, has been clinically proven to increase moisture levels up to 6,000%! And the added benefit of vitamin C can help revitalize and brighten the under eyes.

Additionally, Cityguard™ lifts and firms the eye area, which may help reduce the puffy appearance of under eye bags.

Problem: Dehydrated and aging skin
Solution: Retinol Supreme Night Oil

When researching retinol, you’ll find that the number one recommendation is to always-always-always moisturize after using! Often, stronger retinol formulas may cause dryness and peeling.

After years of layering moisturizers and oils on top of retinol, I thought to myself - why is this a two-step process?! And the Retinol Supreme Night Oil was born!

It’s jam-packed with stabilized retinol for healthy skin renewal, a highly potent vitamin C to counteract the havoc brought upon by pollution, and nine plant-based oils to replenish moisture and help prevent flaking.

My final recommendations when using products with retinol - don't forget the sunscreen! I prefer using an SPF of 25 or higher, so this one is perfect for me. And if you do start to experience excessive dryness or flaking skin, try reducing your retinol usage to every other night.

Hi, I love your products! I have been using both the salicylic acid and retinol treatments (along with several other things), and I recently got the mandelic acid serum. If I use that at night, can I still use the retinol afterwards?

    Thanks!

Thank you, I have a question about aging and what is best for all wrinkles. I am using both the retinol oil and serum….do I need to add the complex? Thanks so much,

Are you saying the Retin A oil/serum is more gentle than the creme in the tube?
I use all of your products but this has always been confusing to me.
    Thank you Colleen
